Opportunity to work on different product lines and plenty of mobility provided there are openings in different fields. Emerson is a service based company so there tends to be stable unless the product lines struggle to be profitable.
Cons
Different product lines/branches are compartmentalized. Company will layoff well seasoned staff at the first sign of economic hardship to maintain positive quarterly stock price up in an effort to please shareholders.
