Pros

Unlimited time off. Good entry level job if you can’t find anything else.

Cons

While working in the team I was thinking that the upper management behavior is “normal” in corporate America. Now that I have been working in my current role for a while, I now know how toxic the traffic quality team is. There is a reason why people don’t stay in their roles for too long. And for the ones that do, are all part of the upper management and will always be protected for their bad behavior toward the analyst. Their response is that “people just get their experience and go” but people don’t leave good Jobs. One of the main reasons why people leave is because of management. I understand that in a work environment, no one really has your back. But this team is on another level when it comes to that. The director or vp will be grilling you, but the manger becomes nonexistent in a group conversation. It shouldn’t even be called a team. This type of culture is all created by the upper management, maybe to make it seem like their jobs actually matter but they really don’t. Maybe it’s different now since people have been quitting. They constantly say “the team is growing”, it definitely isn’t. I’ve been hearing this since the interview. The team is pretty small in general but for some odd reason they have 4 people managing 4 analyst. A little about the work, It isn’t a completely true analyst role. You will get to explore data and that will be mainly what you do but they will have you do the most ridiculous work that a true analyst shouldn’t even be doing. But they won’t advertise that during the interview or in the job description. A day to day looks like providing updates on changes in data in a meeting, and if you are the unlucky one, you will be getting some unnecessary nitpicking questions that the director knows you doesn’t know and so does the rest of the team. This is a very uncomfortable experience for everyone else. Then you are off for the rest of the day trying to complete tasks related to the meeting by the end of the day because the director insist that the tasks be completed by the end even if they require more time. You will also have other tasks to complete. Sometimes the deadlines aren’t that serious. They are trying to have the team be more agile and have one week sprint. But you can get an assignment In the middle of the week and they still expect you to have it don’t be the end. Then at the end of the week, you will have most useless one on one with the manager and even the director will pop up to provide extra pressure and turn it into a two on one. The work isn’t that bad and can be interesting sometimes but the environment and culture is really bad in the team. If you have little to no experience then I would take the role and start applying for a new job in 6 months or 1 year. If you already have a couple years of experience, I would say do not waste your time here. If there are no other options, you gotta do what your gotta do.

Pros

There are no "Pros". Company is getting driven into the ground, quickly. Unlimited FTO - sure nice if you EVER get to take time off

Cons

Employees have been strung along last year (2025), told there would be Merit Increases -- should have been in March 2025 (didn't happen); then we're told it would be in July 2025 (didn't happen); then we're told would have a meeting in Sept 2025; there was a All Hands call and we we're told ONLY Top Performers would get a BONUS, and no one else. Then, in Jan 2026, there was money Allocated for FULL Merit Increases for April 2026. NO Senior Mgnt Communication. It's the end of March 2026 and we are told from our Managers (NOT Senior Mgnt) that there would NOT be any Merit Increases, supposedly "tabled" until July 2026. Time will tell.
