Pros

The CEO & VP are generous and are also very flexible with scheduling. If you do a great job, they will take care of you. The job is fun, but the days are long. You will meet people from all over the world. It was the best company I have worked for in my 43 years of employment.

Cons

Long days. Sometimes, guests can be challenging. Doing tours in bad weather can be difficult, but doable.

Pros

Easily accessible. Getting to the city is a pain usually, but the fact that the office is located 10 minutes away from the BART station is EXTREMELY useful. Easy to do. If you have any kind of people skills then this is the job for you. Guest services mixed with clerical work. I didn't have to manually do anything, so it really cuts down on the number of things I had to remember which minimized the number of things I could do wrong on my 1st day. Environment. Your co-workers are quite enjoyable. It's a small atmosphere, so you feel as though you've known these people for ages. They're all just as friendly and caring as I am. The CEO, Gary Lillian, is stupendous. He loves to just chat and get to know his workers. It is refreshing in a world where lower management RARELY interacts with the head of a company. Motivation. Working here made me feel as if I was running my own travel agency. A mixture of guest services, clerical work, and ability to learn things quickly aided me. They have monthly sales goals for the entire department in addition to individual commissions.

Cons

Of course not every job is perfect. Office decorum. I know it is not a huge deal to everyone, but the office decoration needs to be updated. The new coffee maker they bought before my leaving was a good start. There's just so much going on. They do have a theme for the office, being "travel" of course, but the ambience seems too impersonal.
