Pros

FIS has a good benefits package.

Cons

This was a very stressful job. The work environment was very strict because of the type of work that was being done. You were dealing with a lot of confidential client information. There were a lot of rules to follow and they changed regularly. It was very stringent with your work time. You had to have a dr.s note if you thought you would need to use the restroom outside of your assigned break time more than 30 minutes in a month. There was a lot of favoritism to certain people when it came to the dress code, job assignments., and the bathroom break rule. There was an extremely hostile employee who threatened team leads, fellow co-workers and supervisors and it took them over a month and a half to terminate him. He even pushed one of the employees and totally disregarded the dress code and other rules that the rest of us had to follow. They moved people to other seats to keep them feeling safer because of him but, he would walk by them all the time to try to intimidate them. There was a bedbug infestation in different areas of the call center. The management tried to keep people from knowing about it . That was not a sound decision because people could have taken a bedbug home and it would have cause a possible infestation in their home. This was not a pleasant or employee friendly work environment.

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
