Pros

Great way to get your foot in the door with pharmaceuticals because they hire a majority of their sales specialists out of college.

Cons

Extremely low pay, 3rd/ 4th line products that Doctors are NEVER interested in, products are at least twice as expensive than the generic option. Unrealistic sales goals! Out of the 55 sales specialist maybe 5 people are able to attain due to their coverage in their area i.e., southeast (territories south of Charlotte N.C). Stay away and avoid the headache especially if you are in Midwest, Texas, and Northeast Districts.

Pros

FSC has a very community and family feel and is small enough that most everyone knows each other. With such a small company there is great opportunity to have your voice heard and be a central part of decisions.

Cons

As with any company, the work/life balance can get off set at times. Because of the size there are limited human resources which can be both positive and negative since many people get to wear multiple hats.

Pros

Good company to learn the ropes from. The company gets the basics of pharma. Great for aspiring reps fresh out of college. Corporate leadership is friendly and fairly accessible.

Cons

Lack of managed care support. Most products are not covered by major insurance companies and come at a high cost to the insurance company or patient. Pay is extremely low for the industry. Information regarding products you will sell will be extremely limited and often unsupported with data critical to prescribers. High cost products are in abundance. Most pharmacies would not attempt to carry products.
