      Pros

      very niche work domain - entire SIP/VoIP architecture can be studied in real-time implementation scenarios if you want to grow in the domain - nothing will beat the brand value of Genesys.

      Cons

      very limited scope of growth - after a while the technology aspect seems to become stagnant - no managerial/customer facing opportunities

      Pros

      PTO is very generous. Great work life balance. Excellent pay.

      Cons

      Support gets very little say in anything and continues to get more work. Takes at least a year of drowning before you really know what you are doing with confidence.
