Pros

Difficult to find one positive

Cons

I've never worked in a company with so much arrogance from senior management , unbelievably bad decision making , no real interest in staff satisfaction , actually no real interest in staff at all. Since the acquisition of ININ , the Frimley office has been in complete turmoil ; Sales teams have adopted a very aggressive strategy and if you don't perform , you're out! The rest of the company is still coming to terms with the mess the acquisition has created ; there's no guidance from the top , many of the more senior managers are clearly out of their depth , the stress level is very visible throughout and the majority of staff has just given up. The company doesn't have a culture , it doesn't have a real identity , it thinks of itself as a big player in the business world , yet staff is leaving every week. It has nothing to offer to keep staff motivated , not even a place to socialize at lunch time and some managers makes out that going to Sainsbury's at lunch time is a great perk to attract talent. WOW!Difficult to restore or even create a positive culture in the office , the communication is poor and most of the times contradictory , you will get an email/video from top level in Daly City telling you to take time off and recharge , then , at local level ,you're told you can't take leave because of workload.

Pros

To get pay and sort of work for a big company in general. Slow pace work env, it's great for lazy people.

Cons

If company don't make profit, you will be the first to know about it. People get scare and worry about redundancy and sudden disappearance of some usual faces around. Slow growth, slow technology, employees lacked skills, wrong promotion, bad HR and a lot of office politics. If it used to be good then at least I was never part of it. Bad and poor management or no management. People come and go in the office, no set rules and no tracking. Unfair systems going on internally.

Genesys Response
11y
It’s interesting that some of the things you apparently had issues with during your 10 year employment run at Genesys are the very types of things that most people appreciate; flexible hours, work life balance, and long-tenure. Our rapid overall growth over the past few years has certainly made for some changes, most of which I think are very positive. We definitely strive for transparency – as you said, if things are going well, or if things are not going well…we’ll tell our teams. As with many relationships, sometimes people grow apart. Sounds like you have moved on to something else and I wish you the best of luck in your new endeavor. I’ll be in our UK office next month and I look forward to hearing some of your former colleagues’ observations. …Tracy

Pros

- Free certification - Great culture outside of US, no racisme

Cons

- Genesys constantly evaluates company compensation scheme's, but that's all that's done, no changes happen. - Price policies are not flexible and scalable. - Every platform lacks basic functionalities, voice is prioritised other media channels suffer. - Customer support is bad; many staff are new, don't have knowledge and are blocked by scope set by management that doesn't care about customer service. "Slow response to issues. Little experience and depth of knowledge in response team." is the most common review. - "Fundamental features not available" is the most common review you'll hear, management doesn't want to hear this negativity, they want to spin up new (not finished) new features to spin it positively. - Every day brings a bug on any platform.
