Pros

- average compensation - stock options - work-life balance

Cons

- old ruby tech stack - work on the monolith, and repaint the same old wall again and again - no hands-on EMs (now tech-leads) have feedback on how to develop software without reality checks. - Working for hollow glory since there is no direction - The company is not profitable (very uncertain) - Lacks vision - It's not worth switching tech-stack to ruby if you are coming from any other matured tech-stack (like jvm or golang). - They want to be the best but don't have a great product, vision, or profitability. It's hollow! - Total waste of time to work here. - Recently announced layoffs because of management failures. - VR's were much higher than expectations. People opting to leave is a sign of some great work happening here (take the hint).

Pros

Everyone is really kind and helpful. People stay for the company culture.

Cons

Absolutely no upward mobility. No promotions or raises. The company is in a tough spot financially. It's very sellable but customer retention and growth is a major problem and no one has the answers to solve for it.
