Pros
- the people are caring, helpful, friendly, and genuine - there is a desire for a happy and modern culture - very high earnings potential (1MM+) - if you enjoy or can withstand analyst/admin work for years to reach the top this may be for you - Again, you can make a lot of money
Cons
- analyst/admin type work. Filling out forms, printing and organizing documents, monotonous reporting. - senior positions make good money, everyone below them makes lower than average money - during year if you want to be promoted or have recognition for your work you must work at least 45 hour weeks, during tax season you will work 60+. - theres a tax season. You do tax returns mindlessly for months. - HR doesnt care about you - SVP is the man - depending on who your manager is determines whether you will hate your life or not - they hire younger college grad types to grind them out during tax season - Goldman is taking over and replacing anyone they want. Why work towards VP if the position is unstable
