Pros

Beginning pay is decent but raises tend to be low Benefits are decent but eroding yearly Work life balance is tolerable depending upon where you work

Cons

Don't disagree with upper management, they don't want to hear it & you will pay a price People are scared to voice their concerns Concern for the customer is almost nonexistent Micromanagement is the rule rather than the exception If you work in America or a region of Europe that pays well, you have zero job security Forget getting recognition for a job well done unless you are a member of the "in" group Upper management only cares about their bonus, not how they got it or if what they did helped the company

Pros

Dedicated professionals to allocate responsibilities; clear learning objectives; opportunities to assist engineers in the field.

Cons

Upper-tier management is a bit disorganized. Nobody seems to know what was promised in our contracts. Our scope is a bit vague sometimes.

Pros

Interesting product offerings, learning both global and domestic industry, ability to climb the ladder and have career growth if you work hard. Great people within the business.

Cons

Honeywell corporate culture is very negative. They don't really care about employees, and many executive level managers will ask for things that require late night and weekend work. There is very little work life balance, and no cross training so you still may be contacted or expected to pitch in while you are on vacation.
