Pros
IMD has a great reputation, and is a great name on a CV (at least in Switzerland) International staff Lunches are free, but the quality is very poor (you'll often have to guess what you're eating) + nice terrace and park in the summer
Cons
I never thought I would ever leave a bad review about an employer- there are always positive things about any place. Yet, IMD is such a toxic place that I do not recommend it to anyone, regardless of job type, salary or else. 1: there is a sickening cast system between professors and the rest of employees, with "PCFA" being at the bottom of the pyramid and treated with utter disrespect. For other departments, you often get asked who your manager is to assess how badly one is entitled to treat you. 2: the President has serious anger management issues and yells at employees, just because. Whether in private or in public, it doesn't matter. No constructive feedback, no conversation, you'll just get trashed. His real personality equals to the exact opposite of his public charisma. 3: as a result, professors also feel entitled to treating others like this (see point 1) 4: all the above has been absolutely normalized, with top managers not thinking this is a problem I also agree with every single negative comment posted prior to this one. I did not believe them before joining IMD, and now I can confirm they were very accurate.
