Pros
When I joined, the culture was genuinely refreshing: leadership listened, acted quickly on employee concerns, and avoided corporate jargon. Colleagues were collaborative, and the environment felt merit-based in the beginning. Exposure to exciting projects and a fast-paced ecosystem.
Cons
Post-Covid, the culture shifted drastically. Favoritism and politics overshadowed merit. Promotions often go to those who please managers socially (boozing, smoking, networking at parties) rather than to hard-working performers. Nepotism is evident — management-linked family members secure roles, while deserving referrals are ignored. Escalating issues against management is risky; retaliation, ego clashes, and even manufactured performance concerns can be used to push employees out. Mid-level employees face stagnant growth and low hikes, while senior management advances quickly. No real team-building activities, yet “team spirit” is expected. The environment increasingly feels authoritarian, with focus on optics rather than genuine collaboration. Bad hikes
