Pros
I am trying to find words but there are almost no pros One pro is - you have a brand tag that outside people believe to be very good(I was one of those people once); so you will get good opportunities from other porduct companies if you are an employee here. Dev teams have a good work culture. Do not join any other kind of profile here(other than devs, the whole company sucks)
Cons
It's a long list Company work culture has degraded exponentially. There is bias, racism and what not that you may encounter here. Be very thorough about the JD, they might say one thing and you might end up doing something else entirely. Atleast 20 weekends in a year become working. Btw, you do not get paid for those easily. You'll have to make noise otherwise no one will approve your overtime. You'll get an unofficial compoff from the senion VP for the next day and your manager will shamelessly call you on phone the next morning and ask you to join a call. People are so unprofessional here that they start talking in Telugu in meetings, as if the other person understands this. Hard work and good results will be appreciated, by more work. There is no recognitions of good work. Anyway, this is all because of my personal experience, what happened in my team under my sub-org. Not all teams are like that. Developer teams are really great and if you are here to check this for a dev job, I think you should take it. Do not get into Ops.
