Pros

I really enjoyed my time at Instinct and looking back I had a lot of development opportunities with the company which got me to where I am now. It is a brilliant company to join if you thrive from progression & hard work paying off. They support & recognise you through regular 121s, super trips, lunch clubs and catch ups. The banter is something you won't get anywhere else (if you can hack it!). The incentives are incredible and always give you something to focus on, if that is what motivates you. It is a brilliant close-knit team who you can have a laugh with throughout the day. I was referred in through a friend and it was one of the best decisions I made as a young graduate to learn a lot about the industry, Andrew in particular taught me a lot and was a colleague to look up to during my time to get me to where I am now, he is someone who had a lot of time for people willing to learn.

Cons

There are no specific cons to the business unless you aren't willing to put the effort in, which will show in a business of Instinct's size. They will support hard workers and keep you engaged throughout your time with the business. I think unsociable people would struggle in the business like Instinct or recruitment in general.

Pros

The team here has been really welcoming and supportive since day one. As someone still fairly new in the recruitment space, I’ve found it valuable to work with colleagues who are always willing to lend a helping hand and share their knowledge. From day 1 you are supplied with a clear plan of your targets for the year which allows you to focus on your career in recruitment, which I found really useful.

Cons

Can't fault the place! A really fun and social environment to come to 5 days a week!

Pros

Very clear expectations from day 1, with plenty of support from senior management on how to achieve targets and improve these over time No micro-management, you are trusted to be independent in all the work you do but are held to account as a result (which works to help you improve and learn from any mistakes) Communication is very open and honest, and the Director's have managed to curate an environment where staff feel compelled to help each other through sharing ideas, candidates, leads etc. Aside from this, there are monthly lunch clubs, yearly trips, and half days out including the Ale Trail which contribute further to a really positive team culture

Cons

None, you have set KPIs and targets but this can only be expected from a high performing recruitment agency. If you are happy to work hard, there will be no cons
