Pros
Get the right level of support if you seek it, you have to be able to navigate independently which really brings out the entrepreneurial nature of the business but at the same time has great team culture (obviously team dependent). As long as you're doing the right things, penetrating your market and building long-term relationships (with the revenue that follows) you're given a tonne of autonomy.
Cons
Again team/leader dependent, but don't think it's the best place for people with little recruitment experience... better for people who have cut their teeth, know (to most degree) what they're doing and now want to finesse and accelerate their careers
