Pros

Friendly and kind staff members who help you to learn job duties as fast as possible. Also some of management people are ok, understanding and during bussiest hours helping as much as they can. Also free food for staff is very good thing.

Cons

Long hours and as new one in training ( I signed for mixed shifts with preference to normal daily morning/afternoon shift because I comute from far and in late night and early morning have problem with transport so I waste lots of time for getting to home. But after starting to work I was given mostly nightshifts and when I tryied to sort it out I was told I got job only because I was willing to do also nightshifts - which I thought it will be 1, max.2 per week not 4 in row and next shift starting with another nightshifts ) I got mostly nightshifts in row in bussiet days, which can be very stressful and especially in night you get customers who have no manners how to dine(or are drunk) so when public opening time is over you spend yet nother hour or more by just cleaning the mess which is awful. Also there is no time to do anything in house youneed to do or to spent some time for yourself when have nightshifts in row just come to home, sleep, eat and go to work again. I would recommend only if you need some job to start to or when you look for better job to fill this gap instead of being unemployed.

Pros

Working at KFC has several advantages. One major benefit is the flexible scheduling, which makes it a good option for students or people with other jobs. The position is also entry-level friendly, meaning employees typically do not need prior experience to get hired. In addition, the fast-paced environment can make shifts feel shorter and more engaging. Many employees also enjoy the team atmosphere and develop friendships with their coworkers. Another advantage is the availability of employee discounts or free food during shifts, as well as the potential for advancement into shift leader or management roles.

Cons

However, there are also some disadvantages to working at KFC. The pay is often relatively low, usually close to minimum wage. The job can be physically demanding, requiring employees to stand for long periods, work in a hot kitchen, and perform tasks such as lifting and cleaning. The work environment can also be messy due to grease and food preparation. Additionally, the job can be stressful during busy hours, especially when dealing with long lines or high customer demand. Employees may also have to handle difficult or impatient customers, which can be challenging. Finally, work schedules may be inconsistent, with hours varying from week to week.
