Pros

You get something to put on your resume

Cons

1. No real training 2. Employees break rules regularly 3. Non professional and disrespectful managers 4. Low pay 5. Abusive customers 6. Little incentive other then to not get yelled or profaned at My general manager is in the habit of cussing at employees, snatching things away from them and is generally unwilling to listen to his employees opinions. The manager only cares about his own desires. He has often smoked inside the building after we close and has even allowed underage workers to get drunk at the office Christmas party. Employees are in the habit of skipping procedure and breaking rules as well as using excessive profanity and sexual innuendo. The environment is unprofessional, unclean, and unfostering. Expect a lot of work for little pay, and even less appreciation.Upper managament such as district managers are caring and sincere but local management is less professional. The environment can be dealt with as long as professionality is not a main desire.

Pros

Working at KFC has several advantages. One major benefit is the flexible scheduling, which makes it a good option for students or people with other jobs. The position is also entry-level friendly, meaning employees typically do not need prior experience to get hired. In addition, the fast-paced environment can make shifts feel shorter and more engaging. Many employees also enjoy the team atmosphere and develop friendships with their coworkers. Another advantage is the availability of employee discounts or free food during shifts, as well as the potential for advancement into shift leader or management roles.

Cons

However, there are also some disadvantages to working at KFC. The pay is often relatively low, usually close to minimum wage. The job can be physically demanding, requiring employees to stand for long periods, work in a hot kitchen, and perform tasks such as lifting and cleaning. The work environment can also be messy due to grease and food preparation. Additionally, the job can be stressful during busy hours, especially when dealing with long lines or high customer demand. Employees may also have to handle difficult or impatient customers, which can be challenging. Finally, work schedules may be inconsistent, with hours varying from week to week.
