Pros

Global consumer product company with decent chance to move into other positions or departments. Competitive salary and good benefits. Lots of fun employee events throughout year. Good community involvement.

Cons

Tough and competitive environment. Extremely busy workload. If you have a bad manager you'll get nowhere. In recent years they have downsized massively by the hundreds, leaving those left with the burden of picking up the slack. Workload is overwhelming with many upper management working 10-12 hrs/day & weekends. Wage freezes the past few years for anyone below upper management yet upper management gets raises & bonuses & the CEO gets several million dollar bonuses. Their Performance Management System is awfully time consuming and mandatory. You have to rate & review your co-workers, never knowing who said what so it's you against your peers. You have to create quarterly objectives & milestones & be held accountable for them - the bar is always set higher and higher.

Cons

Really isolated working experience, teams are extremely siloed and there's no communication across different projects.
