Pros

- hybrid working that’s was pretty flexible - really talented staff and decent culture (despite senior leadership seemingly doing everything in their power to ruin it) - lots of free merch and fika (free food/drinks) - weekly UberEats allowance - good family benefits like enhanced maternity pay

Cons

- returned from maternity leave to find I had been placed in a pool with no role and no team, then had hr suggest I look for “opportunities outside the business” (DEFINITELY VERY ILLEGAL) - CEO can’t be told no - CXO blame everyone but themselves for their mistakes; imagine spouting anti union rhetoric and villainising staff for speaking publicly after you lay off 50% of the work force - constant change of priorities - no bonus - annual pay increases well below inflation with some people getting 0% as they claimed they wanted to focus on certain groups (women, those below market rate) - no clear path to progress; progression is not merit based - with so many layoffs, there are loads of gaps in knowledge and ownership making it hard to complete simple tasks - very little diversity; could count the number of black London based staff on one hand (out of a few hundred) and very few people of colour in management roles - no transparency; only announcing things after someone accidentally stumbles across a policy draft and raises questions on company wide slack channels

Pros

Flexible Work Life Balance after COVID Benefits are very good Parental leave is generous

Cons

Cutthroat, very liberal value system company wide, very DEI focused. Pay is very low and the benefits are the main reason to stay.
