Pros

Fast paced work so time fly's. Feels like family once you get to know everyone and most customer's are great. Part time is about 32 hours a week if your a hard worker and dedicated to doing a good job. If you don't have a family work life balance is good and management will work with you when you need time off etc. as long as you tell them 3 weeks in advance.

Cons

No set schedules unless you have the most seniority. Utah is a right to work state so management uses that to skip or give you your breaks really late or not at all even though it's Kroger policy to get breaks. Corporate constantly changes policies which are useless anyway because they aren't followed unless corporate is doing a visit and they always notify management before showing up. So the constant scrambles to get ready are so fake. I mean what's the point?
