Pros
High profile projects, junior staff are great to work with (before they leave for another employer).
Cons
Prepare to be thrown into the fire. The performative nature of “work-life balance” and “diversity” initiatives are especially frustrating. After-work correspondence and weekend work is discouraged (via the occasional mass email by HR), yet essentially no one adheres to the suggestion, and there is an expectation from local management to sacrifice all waking hours and to make your social life and work life one in the same. Diversity initiatives are marketed externally but are not actually reflected in management demographics. High turnover is a product of the tough work environment. Asking for help or needing a break is generally ignored by supervisors and shareholders.
