Great Place to Do Document Review - Document Reviewer Level 2 Legal Solutions Employee Review

Pros

The management is super-friendly and genuinely cares about the employees. Weekend or night work is rare but it's always the project managers and lead reviewers who are in the trenches with you. The pay is decent and the benefits are understandably limited; however, this is more full-time than occasional project work. There's great flexibility for people who need to take care of their family's needs. One of the real strengths is that quality teams get assembled by the managers to tackle various projects, providing leadership opportunities to a variety of folks

Cons

The main downsides are the inherent limitations of document review. Projects come and go, so there can be gaps; however, the project managers are very good about keeping opportunities coming at worst, every other week.

Pros

I really can’t think of any other than some TLs are pleasant and really try to be helpful.

Cons

Low pay. Project needed to be completed by a deadline. Instead of OT, the company offered a raffle to win iBuds: if you worked on the weekend and met goals you would be entered into a drawing. This might work with 6th graders and a school cookie sale. But this? - you gotta be kidding. The assistant PMs were not well trained. When help was requested they talked at you rather than listening for the matter at issue. Sea gull theory: 1) fly in; 2) make a lotta noise; 3) crap on everything; 4) fly away. One Asst PM made an error in a guidance- but wouldn’t own up. Lots of integrity there. They had no idea what the project entailed. The bid a cost and a timeline and then beat on everyone to meet. I suspect the TLs were also beat on. Of course L2L has a value statement. As with most companies it does not mean squat.
