Pros
There are always plenty of job openings due to the high turnover. The benefits are ok although they used to be better before Liberty Mutual bought SAFECO. Competent and intelligent co-workers. It's a good training ground and jumping off point for college grads.
Cons
At Liberty Mutual, the parameters that define success for a job title are archaic and finite. If your "numbers" do not fall into a certain range for certain competencies, then you are deemed a failure. Things like creativity and speaking the truth are frowned upon. In other words, if you're not a robot then you probably won't last long at Liberty. If your competencies and/or numbers aren't up to par, it's highly likely that you'll be allowed to stick around, but only to rot. They will use your low "numbers" as an excuse to pass you over for promotions and raises, but they will work you like a dog. There are never too many minions at Liberty.
