Pros
Decent Pay Good benefits for full time associates Paid for housing/accommodations during training New company, so there are opportunities for growth (don't count on it actually happening, though) Tasks are not necessarily difficult, you're just expected to take on amounts of tasks that just simply cannot be completed to their standards in a measly 5 hour shift.
Cons
Lack of Communication Work/life balance isn't actually there, despite what they tell you in training. Outdated technology and facilities in stores (Things are constantly breaking, malfunctioning or just outright not working) Denying breaks, while also claiming that it is "very important" to take all alotted breaks during your shift. Not allowing people to leave at their scheduled time. Basically, at this stage in the game, Lidl US is an HR nightmare, maybe someday they will figure things out but I won't be there to see it.
