Where do I start?
- No autonomy as a manager, comply or die as the saying goes. Comply with the ineptitude of senior leaders.
- 47.5hr contract, 30 min break. Verging on slave labour?
- Archaic technology (1 handheld device to do everything, so unproductive especially considering the company is productivity obsessed)
- Treat the lidl Plus app as the saviour to customer service... Maybe reviewing the working conditions/productivity in store will allow colleagues to flourish and provide amazing service.
- Run on a shoe string, staff overworked and will make mistakes
- Micromanagement to the smallest detail - tick box, paper pushing, again unproductive
- Health and safety practices non-existent
- Inept warehouse that delivers everything late (impacting customers and also impacting colleagues who then have to rush implementing everything and cut corners)
- Blame Culture that sucks the life out of your soul
- Worst communication from senior leaders I have ever experienced
- Insane productivity targets especially when the business add extra tasks all the time because they simply cannot get it right first time.
- Not sure anybody has heard of praise?
