Sickness levels generally high which makes work even harder if you have problematic team members.
Management often lack experience, don't deal with problems but this is hit or miss depending on managers you have. Often changes with swaps between stores.
Can be difficult to get your contract hours as things are so tight,.company productivity targets are tough and counterproductive, not good for customers at all. I.e unworked delivery, not enough staff in building especially with sickness rates high.
Sometimes can feel pay is not enough on regular basis when staffing issues and delivers issues are a problem. Latest pay increase was dire and real term decrease.(2.8% for me when average UK increase for same year was over 5%!!.)
