We had no direct supervisor to mentor and help on the field hands-on as an SDR. They said they were going to hire an SDR Lead/supervisor but never did...The reason why, we do not know. Low base compensation. It's very low for an SDR in this market, especially with the rising cost of living with inflation. They try to sell you on perks like doordash credits that you rarely get and an a quarterly snack box. Sales entered a low season due to the declining economy all across the board for everyone and management did not do anything about it but forcing us to do a Udemy course for us to drive sales. I was let go due to "a restructure of the organization" after labor day (a day that celebrate laborers) in the middle of my shift, along with half of my team. They gave me the news very quick like they did not care. On top of that there was a very weak severance. I really felt undervalued and discarded like trash.
