Pros

- Working from home is nice, especially as a parent. - The work isn't very stressful - Everyone I work with is genuinely nice

Cons

The Management team and CEO have no experience prior to this company and it shows. They never seem sure of what they're doing, with every decision being an emotional one instead of a logical one. The rhythm and pace of the company seem to change every few weeks just because the CEO read a new book. The lack of consistency makes it hard to know where the company is going to go.

Pros

MeetEdgar right from the get-go was clear about wanting to take care of their employees. Having come from a couple years of self-employment, I told myself I would only ever accept a new job if the company was as focused on making their employees happy as they were their customers. I really thought it was more of a pipe dream than an actuality, but I was happy to be wrong. MeetEdgar is a fantastic team of qualified people who could each be in charge of a company themselves, but work better together than the '95-96 Chicago Bulls.

Cons

While a 100% remote team is certainly more in the "pros" category than the "cons", my only con is that I would love to be in an office with the team I work with. I'm happy that we each get to be where we want (and that obviously helps with sourcing really great employees/coworkers, since our applicant pool is nationwide), but I do wish I could have more interaction with them than Slack. They're too great to not want to hang out with.
