New Cary campus is nice Compensation is above average for the area

Cons

IT practices are very immature and there is a general lack of IT professionalism Over emphasis on IT cost reduction results in poorly implemented outsourcing partnerships, poor quality, reactive management, chaotic priority shifts, low morale, high employee turnover Deeply engrained “old school” management culture, with excessive politics and “boys club” mentality Departmental silos and politics make it nearly impossible to implement solutions or process improvements Low maturity, slow pace, poor leadership and legacy technology will cause your skills\experiences\value\marketability to erode throughout your tenure

Good support for new people managers were very helpful and always available

Cons

Micromanage every second of your time; have to put in a request to go to the bathroom and wait for someone to grant it Expect you to put exceptions to your time after your shift ends on your own time Half hour lunch by the time I brought my lunch or heated my leftovers and went to the bathroom. I barely had time to wolf it down. Unrealistic call times Systems are horrible and crashing all the time expect you to be in at least 15 minutes before your shift unpaid to set up all the programs on your computer
