Cons
Job is sold as innovative and embracing new methodologies but haven't seen that. We work on a lot of old AS400 and Cobol. Even the teams developing new things, do more generic than being able to get there skills out there. No desire to want to move forward. The company surveys are bad every year and the executives don't seem to want to change anything, they don't see it as there issues, a desire to want to push it down making the directors busier and they all seem stressed. I've heard that not to rock the boat or go to HR about complaints as this isn't wanted and you get asked not to speakout. We are all encouraged to fit a mould of personality so as not to be noticed for being different. No one is sure why directors have left and now all female leadership has gone, HR informed su when asked why they left, women sometimes choose family and children over careers. This wasn't received well as I don't think that was the plan for either of them, but I don't know them well. We lost the leaders that were hard but fair on us. They took the time out to also talk to us and try to help us succeed but they expected us to deliver. I don't believe there is much opportunity for career progression here our job is keep the lights on.
