Home working is available if required. Departments vary some are decent but some are incredibly toxic. Lots of staff off with stress.
Cons
1. This is an LLL Grade F (Very Poor) Organisation > Legacy systems - Legacy people - Legacy ways of thinking. 2. 1980's management culture / bullying culture from the top. The Fred Goodwin ways of working still exist. You will be kicked when you least expect it. 3. You'll be working so your boss can get his bonus. Don't fall for the recruitment sales pitch. It is finance and people are motivated by money, progression and a bonus. They will try and pay you as little as possible. 4. This is not an organisation for anyone in their 20/30s to grow and develop. It is full of people who have been there long term and bring nothing new to the table. If you want a fun, interesting and vibrant career avoid this. Work for a Fintech, Start Up, Google, Asset Manager etc. All are light years ahead.
