Pros
You get the opportunity to work from home and have somewhat of a flexible personal life. You get health benefits and discounts at certain places.
Cons
Sometimes impossible to keep calls under a certain time limit and get reprimanded for longer calls not under your control. Management is very unorganized and often has limited knowledge on company police’s and advises you incorrectly, which causes you to be reprimanded by a manger higher up. You get a time limit on a bathroom break. If you have technical difficulties due to company’s fault, especially for an extended amount of days, you will NOT get paid, although it was the company’s fault. It is promised that you will have rotated weekends, but that’s not the case. Weekends are very hectic because often there are slim to none workers available. If the company decides to close on an holiday last minute, it is an MUST that you work in your off day, even if you had plans intl your off day. And lastly the amount work load and requirements does not add up to the pay and it’s hard to have career advancement here.
