The team members are nice

Overworked and severely underpaid. Team Leader/Manager salary is little more than a representative despite the stress being far greater, cannot recruit internal managers as staff can see it is not worth it so external candidates are hired at a higher salary with little experience and then fired for under performing when they are provided no support No leadership pay reviews, career progression or clear expectations. Decisions made at the top that fail to be communicated properly or thought out so the same mistakes are made time and time again No appreciation or recognition for anyone's achievements Very cliquey with promotions only given to friends of management despite them lacking the skills to effectively do the role. Terrible training programme which leaves individuals giving incorrect advice to customers and same mistakes are then repeated time and time again If you raise any concerns, you will be labelled as negative and told that it is a fast growing company which appears to be the excuse for all issues. No Christmas Party or events to save public image despite the work the teams have put in over the year.

It’s difficult to tell from your post whether you are part of our energy operations team or in another team in the business. We haven’t done any external hiring in our energy operations management team recently and have processes to avoid some of the challenges you've faced, which leads me to think that you are in another area of the business. Pros

Some members of the company are the best people you’ll ever meet.

Cons

Genuinely a complete mess. Incompetent, passive aggressive leadership that repeatedly makes both poor and confusing company decisions. I have some absolutely crazy stories from things I’ve witnessed here. There’s things that are so bizarre and dysfunctional, they belong in an alternate reality.
