Pros

helping support a need in the community

Cons

micromanaging your every move, they hire you for one county and then make you work across 4-5 counties, they don't put the patient needs first, the office doesn't support the field staff at all frequently calling you about every small request that could be taken care of by the office like med refills, they have no educational pamphlets or anything for patients and their families. the benefits don't begin until 2 months after employment, they make the fleet program hard to qualify for despite HR telling new employees its easy, they pay only 39c per mile for reimbursement even though the national average is closer to 56c and climbing this year, they have no retirement programs. they don't have any coverage or assistance for employees that are exposed to or contract covid they just make you take two full weeks off unpaid unless you have some of the only 80hrs of PTO they have available to new employees which you only accrue approx 6hrs per month as a new employee. $69,000 salary
