Upper management makes rash decisions with no regard for how it will affect their employees. They offer no rationalization for their decisions beyond 'feeling' that it is the best choice and meet all criticism with uninterested boilerplate responses. Their recent decision to abruptly end their WFH policy with virtually no warning is incredibly unprofessional. With less than a month to adjust to this new policy, employees have been thrown to the wind with no accommodations or compensation. Workers with children or family members who need their care, workers with disabilities that cannot appear in office 5 days a week, and anyone who has structured their life around what they thought was a promise from a trusted company have all have been treated as disposable assets and cast aside. Not to mention that Paycom has been advertising hybrid/remote roles to tech workers as recently as a month ago, leading to new hires being tricked into accepting a job that is not what they signed up for. This is all incredibly disappointing and cruel. Avoid this company.
