Pros
- 9-5 hours - can work from home if needed for example if you are feeling poorly or have childcare issues - pay better than other work programme providers - can buy extra holidays - lots of training opportunities - friendly staff - okay sick pay 4 weeks after a year - great Christmas parties
Cons
- too many targets to stay on top off. - no staff cover for sickness or holidays which you can then get penalized for through no fault of your own. - get asked to do other peoples jobs. - lots of observations and audits on your work. - no incentives for good work or meeting targets. - high case loads. - poor system to work with (JASPER). - high staff turnover due to low morale. - lunch breaks aren't paid for and often aren't taken due to high case loads and having too much to do. - recruitment is reactive not proactive and therefore puts a lot of strain on staff waiting for new staff to be trained and ready to start.
