Philips seems to only really care about what is “trendy” as they struggle to get more women in leadership roles, but then don’t provide benefits, such as maternity leave, to actually attract and retain female talent.
Global makes decisions for the region that don’t really make sense. The move to Nashville wasn’t really cost saving and going to Cambridge will lose a lot of top talent. Again, trying to attract women into leadership roles, but then require them to commute up to 2 hours when they could have kids in school isn’t going to make you an attractive employer.
