As a growing company, our diversity & inclusion efforts continue to evolve as well. Our philosophy at Pluralsight is that diversity & inclusion is not centrally owned by one team but rather owned by everyone in the organization. Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) team members are positioned and empowered to create long-term strategies that will fulfill our company’s current and future needs. They enable our leadership & team members to push forward and embed diversity & inclusion in and throughout the business. We value all of our Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and position them as an extension of our people team efforts. Our ERGs are trusted partners to our DEIB team in driving forward the work around creating a diverse and inclusive environment. In addition to the company driven efforts, we do welcome their voices, ideas and the initiatives they choose to create and lead.
We recently added Juneteenth to our list of U.S. holidays (as part of our unlimited time off benefit). The process to make this shift did take some time but I can assure it was not because leadership did not believe in the importance of the day. - Will
