Pros
Perks Insurance (full family + higher value coverage) summer holiday
Cons
Many employees are recruited under false pretenses — hired for one technology stack but later pushed into a different one, only to be criticized as “underperforming.” The leadership style is highly authoritarian (VPs/site leaders). Career growth or job security often depends less on performance and more on being a “spy” or an informer for senior leaders, or even simply socializing with them at the gym or play areas. The work culture is toxic. Senior management in India often lacks the ability to manage projects and challenges effectively. Instead, they shift blame onto middle management and senior engineers, labeling them as incapable and pushing them out. Employee retention is very poor. Few last beyond two years, and many are hired and fired within months under the pretext of “business restructuring.” There is also clear favoritism within HR. Certain individuals retain their roles despite taking full advantage of flexible WFH arrangements and adjusting their work hours at will, whereas others face termination for similar practices.
