Pros
I truly say that I work with my best friends, I go out at night with them, and usually spend time when were not working around them as well. I have had the luxury of getting promoted and moving forward in the organization on 4 different occasions, won various prizes, but the things that you take away the most, even 6 years later, is that this job changes you. You become a better son to your parents, you become a better brother to your siblings, father to kids, etc. I've become a better man, the best version of my professional self gets utilized here. But I wasn't given that. And I think another great pro of this, is that I was taught that lesson working at Power. Nothing is given, its earned. We don't claim easy here. But we do say this: its always worth it. And everyone working with me, my best friends, know that.
Cons
The challenge isn't the weather, the hours- the challenge is how we handle those things. People that can't handle it, tend to belittle it. But what I've learned here is that in order to be part of the best, it means others won't be.
