Pros
I get to work for the largest remodeling company! My company treats our employees very well, all away around. From the respect we are giving to how we are compensated. Power cares not only for their homeowners but their employees as well. There are many opportunities to grow and learn new skills. Many of which the company helps with at no cost to the employee. I am challenged to do better and improve everyday. The environment created in the office is the best I’ve personally seen in any of the companies I have been with. I’ve been in the construction industry for ten years now and Power has been the best I’ve worked with. It’s nice knowing when I go to a house hold, I am there to help, not just sell the homeowner. We offer some of the best products on the market for the lowest prices across the country. It feels good knowing we are not only helping solve problems at affordable prices, but standing behind our work for the future.
Cons
The cons for my position specifically. Screening appointments is very good but could be improved. Power is currently working on improving stuff like this everyday even as I type. Being on-call 6 out of 7 days in the week is a little much, especially if you run 2 apt per day on avg. I think if y’all alternate Saturdays just like in the CD department. You will see better retention, more motivation in employees, and a much better balance of work and home life. It’s can be hard sometimes to balance work and home life in this position especially for married people with kids. It is definitely currently do-able, just can be difficult from time to time.
