Stagnant environment with subpar management and benefits - Developer Progressive Insurance Employee Review

Pros

not many. benefits are subpar. management is very subpar and lacks leadership skills. the environment is extremely stagnant- it's like working for the government but worse because the benefits are not as great and there is no pension. this is not a company to join to bring your best self or best work.

Cons

almost everything except for maybe the yearly bonus. make sure you negotiate for the top pay or even above. the company only posts the min-median salary, not the true maximum, so negotiate for above the salary range.

Pros

One day a week in the office. No weekends. Work from home 4 days. New hires do have to be in office 2 days for first year then go to 1 day a week. Benefits are good. Everyone is awesome. Really only had one supervisor who was a little on the micro managing side but they were new to it. Other than that VP don down the line to adjuster are all super nice and approachable

Cons

It’s a stress full job. I love it but it’s not for everyone. You have to be on your A game every day or you will get behind
