Pros

Dress down office Nobody really cares enough to pull you on anything you do wrong

Cons

Management have no balls whatsoever, most people will be working hard while others will consistently take the mick in regards to absence, respect for the business and general conduct but nothing will be done because they work on the sales team and PCH doesn't revolve around clients it revolves around money! Sales will constantly be pushed and support workers constantly recruited but with no jobs to go into because the sales team don't actually work they swan about all day - if they turn up, but its ok if they don't because nobody with authority cares. That being said if you happen to be lower down the food chain of what the company cares about (cash) and actually doing a role that makes a difference then expect to be walked all over and treated like something wiped onto a welcome mat on the way in!

Pros

There is a fantastic team working across PCH, not just in my immediate office, but in central services and the other branches. Following a period of change, there is currently a positive vibe running through the business and it is exciting to see how the company will develop over the next year or so. For myself there have been opportunities to progress within the company, so it is good that PCH provides avenues for career development.

Cons

After a period of upheaval and a lot of change, things feel more settled now and the uncertainty that had been apparent seems to have reduced. As with any job, there are peaks and troughs, but it is important to remain positive and pro-active during the troughs and keep focused, rather than being drawn in to negativity and unproductive responses. By having the right people around you (which I feel I have), this is possible.

Pros

The only pro was our fantastic training teacher, and if that is the only pro one of your employers can say about your company I would be worried.

Cons

Been employed since September and had no work. so disappointed in this company, was so exited when I passed the interview stage. it was made out like there were clients ready for us and nobody mentioned the fact that it was a 0 hour contract nore that we had to travel all the way to wrexham for training. We are also expected to pay £400 for certificates from our training which again we were never told about, and how are we expected to pay for something when we have no money coming in. I also didn't understand why some people were getting more training than others even where there were still no packages. Also after paying for my checks and bringing them into the office to be put into computer to register it I then found out it has not actually been registered. Had I not noticed luckily on the last day of acceptance then I would have had to pay for yet another one to be made. All in all one of the worst companies I have been employed with.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry the experience you had whilst working at Pulse Community Healthcare wasn't as positive as we'd like to achieve. Your feedback is really important to us and your comments have been passed on to the relevant team to look into. We pride ourselves in our openness and transparency across all the business and will continue to ensure that any potential costs are clarified upfront so that there is no ambiguity around this for our support workers.
