Pros

You get access to the gym.

Cons

Expected to work and take classes without any pay. You are expected to clean equipment take safety checks whilst on shift, for which you do not get paid. The payment is that they don't charge you for access to clients and the ability to train clients in their gym. Which ensures that you make a loss for a long time as it can take time to build up a client base.

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
