      Pros

      Flexible with time management, freedom to work to own pace. I have been at Pure Gym for 10 years and I have had the opportunity to really grow and expand my knowledge. Starting as a call centre advisor, and now working in IT managing product configuration for the group. My work life balance here is excellent, I'm able to be a full time present mum as well as work full time.

      Salary increases have been frustrating

      Pros

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Cons

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
