Pros
Work from home (with pressure to come into the office)
Cons
Bad pay, awful culture. Experienced rude coworkers like I never have anywhere else. Consultant role was advertised as helping clients implement and help secure existing implementations, quickly turned into a boring paper-pushing affair with sole focus on selling more Microslop licensing to clients without ever actually making them more secure. Pay was pretty embarrassing for my experience and reading around on the internet it seems like RSM tries everything they can to get out of even paying the meager bonus they offered me. Didn't stick around long enough to find out if they'd do the same to raises, but I have my hunches. Diversity is great if you are already white, male and have an MBA. Otherwise you won't find a lot of that. Sr management was a joke, seemed fine when ordering everyone around but never saw any of them work projects. I don't know if this is common in accounting firms, but wanting access to my personal accounts felt very invasive. I refused to submit my information and found another role very soon after I was informed this would be necessary.
