Pros
Smart, hardworking co-workers. Growth opportunities to a point. Opportunities to specialize early on in your career. Many opportunities to give back.
Cons
Very little comradery amongst groups. Everyone looks out for #1. High barriers to success for consultants. Very little looking out for or investing in staff. The hardworking continue to be overworked/over utilized while slackers get by and still do well. Many people forced to mentor who have no interest, who consequently end up doing the bare minimum. Minneapolis office has more politics to maneuver then most Big 4 offices (and many of the RSM's offices across the country.) Staff are very aware of political issues and end up leaving around supervisor/manager due to continued frustrations. There are many great people here but the few bad apples can do significant damage to culture.
