Pros
As an employee owned company, SCS' motto is "Ownership makes a difference" and it shows in their employees. Colleagues and superiors are knowledgeable and professional, and take the time to teach the younger professionals. The hard work ethic is contagious, and employees are encouraged to learn new things, push the envelope of new designs & techniques within the industry, & are given the tools to do so.
Cons
In the consulting industry, it's often "feast or famine" when it comes to workload. There are times when multiple deadlines need to be met in a short span, and other times when work is spread thin (though not as often).
