Pros

There are various development opportunities for those who seek them out. Employees who are hard working and go getters are given promotions and exiting projects to work on. Schneider Electric is a great company for people who want to work in an industry that offer meaningful products and services with a focus on sustainability. There is certainly an International focus and opportunties to have exposure to upper-level managment. Even though your schedule can be quite hectic, there is a definite focus on work-life balance.

Cons

Salary and benefits could be more competitive. Employees that are considered to have potential are frequently placed into new roles they are not quite prepared for. The company is very large and complex and is undergoing a major transformation at this time, change is a daily occurance, which can be a pro depending on the individual.

Pros

- Decent pay and good benefits - work truck with gas card -good experience

Cons

- management is disconnected from field employees - review process does not reflect employee performance since managers do not go out in field in order to properly assess job performance - poor communication which leads to chaotic project implementation - no standardization of necessary info for each customer site. You walk in completely blind each time you visit a customer you’ve never been to - safety is important, but corporate pushes redundant messaging so frequently i believe it has the opposite of the intended effect - forced to wear long sleeves FR shirts in hot weather even when you are not exposed to fire hazards any more than a standard office employee
