Multiple changes of direction (3-5 times a year a massive change in structure, strategy, etc), no stability. Higher management can't seem to decide where to go. After all the talks about how great the results are, literally next week absolutely random lay offs, letting go of people who are praised in their departments without any notice. One meeting and you are out after multiple years. No reason, no explanation. Just massive disappointment and fury. At least, people were paid smth on the way out though. But wow, that was unpleasant
